Interior is nice and authentic. Perfect hospitality - the guests feel like each of them is special and VIP. Location is really comfortable for walk around the city's landmarks. The place is quite and peaceful, rooms are clean and cozy.
The house is charming! Very peaceful and quiet. The moment you enter, you feel like you are 100 years back. The only thing that reminds you its 2015 it's the bathroom and the AC, which of course are a great addition to the house. The host is the best you can wish for. He took great time explaining everything we needed to know about the house, asked if we need any directions, told us quite a few interesting jokes and stories, made sure we are well settled before leaving. PS: make sure you stay for breakfast! his wife is the breakfast fairy :)))

The place is an old, house in the Varosha district, built in the 19th century, during the Bulgarian Renaissance . It is located about five minutes walk from most of the city's landmarks - the Kolyo Ficheto Bridge, the fortress, the Turkish bath. The room, although small, had everything I needed. The host is smiling and very welcoming. The breakfast included was actually a homemade banitsa, made personally by the owner that morning.

What a lovely traditional place! We were met on arrival and despite not fully speaking the language, we had no problems as he used a translation app. So much charm in this renovated heritage building but they thoughtfully have AC in the rooms which we loved. Fridge in our room was good as were the kitchen facilities downstairs for prepping baby bottles. Breakfast was amazing with homemade coffee, banitsa, and sunflower honey. We were sad to leave this lovely property and garden, wish we had booked more than one night!!!

Wonderful place. Very good location - the house is located near the museums, the monument of Levski and the city center. Easy access by car and parking to the house. Old Lovech is a good surprise but Tinkov houses are excellent. The renovation of the two houses is excellent and tourists who like genuine traditions are welcome. The hosts are wonderful people ready to help in any way. A good traditional breakfast is offered with pleasure and you do not have to miss it. Visit Tinkov's souvenir shop on the old wooden bridge where both of them are creating unique handcrafts.

The Tinkov house is an authentic Bulgarian home from 1821 under cultural heritage protection. It is located in the old town of Lovech - the architectural and historical reservation of Varosha.
Our family has fully renovated and refurbished the hotel in order to offer our guests modern days comfort, combined with privacy, quietness, and romantic flair.
For breakfast, we serve traditional specialties like banitza, milinki, mekitsi, or rhodopean klin with sunflower honey or fruit jam and cold ayran. You better take two stomachs on your trip :) In the end, you can enjoy our traditional, aromatic coffee on the sand.

The Tinkov guesthouse is a place with an extraordinary atmosphere, where the authentic flair of a Bulgarian home is still alive. Our rooms are not very spacious but they have preserved the old-times flair, combined with modern-day comfort.
Each of our rooms has its own combined toilet / shower for one person, as well as a fridge, cable TV, an illuminated cosmetic mirror, a hair dryer, air conditioning, and additional electric heating. Everywhere in the house our guests have free wireless internet access.
Our guesthouse Tinkov provides over the following rooms:
- a twin room (15 sqm) with a private toilet / bathroom directly opposite to the room entrance. The optimal room capacity is for two adults and a child up to 6 years. The room is on the ground floor with a view to the summer garden and a close access to the winter garden and the common kitchen. The bathroom is equipped with a rain shower, a hand shower, and a ventilation window.
- a double room (10 sqm) with a private toilet / bathroom within the room. The optimal capacity is for two adults and a child up to 6 years. The room is on the first floor with a view of the quiet cobblestone alley and direct access to the wooden balcony. The bathroom is equipped with a rain shower, a hand shower, and a ventilation fan.
- a family room (32 sqm) comprises two rooms with a total of two double beds, one single bed and a private toilet / bathroom in the room. The optimal room capacity is for five adults and a child up to 6 years. The room is on the first floor with a view of the quiet cobblestone alley and direct access to the wooden balcony. The bathroom is equipped with a rain shower, a hand shower, and a ventilation fan.
We offer our guests a fully equipped barbecue grill including a coal sack and lighters for a one-time payment of € 10.
Families with children are always welcome with us. We have a play area for our little guests, as well as a high chair and a cot. All without any additional payment!
We offer our guests a few free parking lots right in front of the guest house. On request, we would be happy to provide you with plug adapters, an iron and ironing board, etc.
Our rooms are smoke-free and pets are not allowed.
We politely ask our guests not to hold any loud events and to keep calm between 10:00 pm and 8:00 am.
The registration of guests takes place between 2:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. or later, if requested in advance. We ask our guests to vacate the rooms before 12:00 on the day of travel.
Since 2020 we have opened our new, completely renovated branch - "The Beauty of Varosha", in one of the most picturesque townhouses, right in the heart of the old town.
"The Beauty of Varosha" is located directly across from the Vassil Levski Museum and the Church of the Assumption of Mary. From here you can reach the most important sights, taverns, and shops in just a few minutes.
In our branch we offer a two-room family suite with approx. 34 sqm of living space, ideal for up to six adults. The house is heated and air-conditioned using modern heat pump technology. On the second floor you have access to the traditionally carved wooden balcony ("tschardak"), from where you can enjoy a wonderful view over the roofs of Lovech. We offer the guests of our branch the following rooms and equipment:
- a twin room (9 sqm) for two adults with a view of the courtyard.
- a double room (13 sqm) for up to four adults with a large double bed and a pull-out sofa bed overlooking the cobblestone street. The room is equipped with a cable TV.
- a bathroom with toilet (4 sqm) which is equipped with a rain shower with thermostat and hand shower. The bathroom is ventilated by an electric fan.

You will never get bored in Lovech. This will be a journey through nature, history, and local cuisine. The neighborhood around the Tinkov house comprises the old part of Lovech.
The streets of Varosha are narrow, meandering, and sometimes unexpectedly in front of them appears a wall or an entrance door. The houses in the area are small, as in most cases they are surrounded by high stone fences. The yards are arranged in levels, where ivy, wild geranium, lilac, and roses are planted.
Start exploring Lovech with the unique Covered bridge, stroll over Hissarya fortress and see the majestic monument of Vasil Levski. A stone's throw away are the picturesque Kruschuna waterfalls and the "Eyes of God" in the Prohodna cave which was a sacred site for the Bogumils in the Middle Ages. You will be literally surrounded by historical and natural states and, of course, also by tasty food, delicious wine, and friendly people.
We are happy to help on site if you want to rent a bike or car. We also offer airport transfers and transportation to local attractions for our guests.
